Achieving this requires fast, reliable, and quality-assured organization of order and project execution. Compliance with standards is documented by DIN ISO 9001 certification. ELASKON is also AEO certified and is therefore considered an internationally reliable and trustworthy business partner. The AEO certificate documents our commitment to quality and we are particularly pleased to have achieved this level as a small medium-sized company. ELASKON products carry the “Blue Angel” eco-label. Since 1978, this label has stood for high environmental standards and underlines our commitment to environmentally friendly product solutions.

The dual study program at the Saxony Cooperative State University in Dresden combines the best of both worlds: a sound theoretical education at university level and practical experience in a company. ELASKON has been producing and marketing high-quality specialty lubricants worldwide for more than 90 years. In the fields of vehicle care, corrosion protection, wire rope lubrication, and molding and release agents, ELASKON is a name that stands for competence, performance, and quality.

We develop and manufacture our products centrally at our headquarters in Dresden.

Product conformity, health and climate

The REACH Regulation, introduced in 2007, creates transparency along the supply chain and serves to improve protection against hazardous chemicals. Through the central registration of substance properties and their risk assessment at the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), substances of concern, their restrictions and bans are better identified and their replacement with safe alternatives is promoted. Our products are mixtures that are not subject to registration. Registration with the ECHA is required for pure substances, which our suppliers must provide and have done so without exception. It goes without saying that we also work closely with them to ensure consistent quality, product quality and safety. We create safety data sheets in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, review them periodically and keep a close eye on ECHA's ongoing adjustments. The format changes in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 2020/878 have, of course, been implemented.

We also carry the “climate-neutral company” seal. Through continuous development and research work, increasingly resource-saving formulations based on biodegradable ingredients can be brought to market. Further information can be found on our Focus on the Future landing page.

ELASKON works strictly in accordance with the legal regulations and provisions applicable to the industry, as well as the latest technical standards and the requirements of professional associations and environmental protection.

All production processes are geared towards the effective and economical use of raw materials and energy. Professional energy consulting, specially tailored to the needs of medium-sized companies, helps to identify potential and develop solutions that are both appropriate and feasible.

Sustainability at ELASKON

The Blue Angel was introduced in 1978 and is the oldest environmental label. Globally, the symbol is a pioneer in the development of environmental labeling systems.

The label is awarded by RAL, a government-authorized body, only if the specified environmental sustainability requirements are met.

Approximately 3,600 products and services from Germany and abroad are currently authorized to bear the Blue Angel label.
